Common Law Maxims
Use these common law maxims to control the court and your opponents.
Maxims are "self-evident" truths that establish justice. They set limits on courts to insure fair administration of justice according to the common law of mankind. They are common-sense simple sayings that evolved over centuries as men and women of good will established governments bound by their common law.
For example, one maxim states: "A thing similar is not exactly the same." Who could disagree? Certainly not any judge sitting on a courtroom bench, for if a judge disagrees with self-evident truth he will be reversed or remanded on appeal.
This is power you need! Every court in the free world is bound by common law maxims and the rules of court that the maxims command.
